We extend an invitation to all who work with tourism-related data to actively participate and take on the roles of data providers, data users, or service providers in respective projects.
We set no industry or national boundaries and aim for international collaborations, such as with the Mobility Data Space in Germany or with EU projects for establishing the European data space in tourism (DATES and DSFT). The only requirement is the benefit to the tourism industry.
What data are of interest?
As a principle, there are no "uninteresting" data. Examples of data that have played a significant role in past projects include occupancy data, guest data, movement data, market research data, and geographic or location data. Since full data sovereignty always remains with the participating organization, there is always autonomy in deciding what is actually shared.
